We can see the stage being set that's for sure.
Israel becoming a nation and the Jews coming into their land after being scattered for 2000 years.
We also see the world being setup for one governing body.

Jesus always wants us to be prepared and watch for His coming, it could happen at any moment, that's why the Bible is written in such a way to keep us watching.

I take the amillennial, non-rapture, non-tribulation view point. From my studies of the Bible, I have concluded many of the prophecies that studiers attribute to future events, were fulfilled in past events; and that the end of time will come swiftly and surprisingly. The best we can do is remember Peter's advice,

"Therefore, beloved, since you look for these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless," - 2 Peter 3:14

One thing still missing is the mark of the beast.

It will likely be sold like this:
- Eliminate credit card fraud!
- Will work at every supermarket and gas station
- No need to carry your wallet or your phone

The technology is there today, it's just a matter of time.

A completely cashless society would lead up to that. So yup, that's another thing to watch.
I would also add...
The chip could be equipped with GPS so no more elderly/children getting lost.
It could also store all your medical data as well as keep track of vitals.
It would element all cash so no more black markets
It would also be impossible to commit identity theft..

It's everything the world could ask for

Getting hacked is always a possibility with today's technology but yet millions of people still bank online.

Getting replicated would be next to impossible due to the chip reading the person's vitals in real time, one chip is transmitting body temp and heart rate while a duplicate isn't...instant flag.

IIRC The Bible states in two different passages that Damascus will cease from becoming a city and will be uninhabitable.

What's Damascus look like today? Are there still people living there?

Yes but if you listen to the Amillennialist this already occurred along with all other prophecies. If you read the bible it has not happened. We are in for interesting times.

No. Amils say that the only thing left is for the strong Angel to release Satan. He will deceive the nations and bring them to war against the Church. Which is about what things are shaping up to be.

My understanding of the blood moons is they are clearly a sign about a significant event pertaining to Israel. They do not point to an exact date.

Two things that have my attention is that Israel is alone, without any allies, and Russia has established a military presence in Syria. The stage is being set for the Psalm 83 war.
