You might be right with everything you wrote above but it's a little hard to take you seriously given that you posted this just a month ago about the CTC:

The Best Bar None Review by DrJCM020 Rating

I have had two CTC laser, this being my second. For what this firearm is designed to do and further what is capable of, anyone who owns the M&P Shield firearm would be doing themselves and their loved ones a great injustice by not purchasing this laser and keeping it on their person at all times. I can't say enough good things. This laser has dramatically increased my wife and I's accuracy greatly. Special consideration is given to the fact we both need to wear glasses. One good shot from the bad guy at night time and without this laser, I'd say, I'd be pretty much up s**t creek without a paddle. With the laser.... no worries... its sorted. (Posted on 12/28/14)

It is true I did write that but that second laser failed again shortly after and lead to another 4 week wait. Now on laser #3. I will certainly be deleting that post on crimson's site tonight. I can't depend on them and unless there was essentially no other option, I wouldn't stake my life or my families life by using this laser. And that review was posted before the armalaser tr4 had even debuted so I didnt even know it existed at that point.

I didn't get it, but my friend did. I have too many small knives like that.

ArmaLaser TR4 vs Crimson trace LG-489H 15 yard/50 round accuracy range test results

            All right lads,
As of today, I've shot over 1500 rounds with the Armalaser TR4. Not one hiccup or failure of laser to turn on. 100% reliable. The CT laser (brand spanking new) had two instances of the laser failing to turn on while depressing the activation button.

Today, I wanted to know which is more accurate at the same distance.

I placed two side by side targets down range at 15 yards and shot 50 rounds using each laser at a given side. I was with several people today, so they kept me honest.

All shots were fired while the laser was focused on the center bullseye if the target. The firearm was warm before the test began to ensure even playing grounds. The two lasers are still set to factory settings. I have not changed the aim on either. They are both stock. So really what we're looking for in this test is grouping size. The smaller the better.

The photo shows the side by side target without labels. I'll post which side is which laser shortly. If you read this before I get that photo up, feel free to take a guess.

              Labeled accuracy range test results'

Test: 15 yards, 50 rounds on target. Looking for groupings.

On the left hand side with the yellow label is the Crimson trace LG-489H laser.

On the right hand side with the green label is the ArmaLaser TR4.

I reckon, along with the onlookers at the range, concluded that the ArmaLaser TR4 was the winner of this accuracy test.

I'm assuming there will be many who may disagree and probably give various reasons why the test isn't valid in their opinions. The guys at the range agreed that this was a fair test and the results are valid.

So far, reliability and accuracy fall in favor of the ArmaLaser TR4.

Sorry CT guys, I know you won't like this result but I gave it an equal chance to win.

My Crimson Trace works very well, also.

In one day 24 posts on another forum all on the Armalaser. 4 Posts here...All on the Armalaser.

Sorry to say, but you're either SUPER enthusiastic... Or there's shenanigans... And not the cheeky and fun kind.

Sorry... Just based on your posts and my experience with MY Armalaser... I don't buy it. Say what you want but it's been far less than reliable for me. I'm still trying to figure out if it's a potential training issue or a fundamental flaw in the placement of the switch.

Enthusiastic, I finally found something that suits my needs. That's all. No shenanigans doing nothing. I just wanted to share my experience with people who might be looking for a laser.
