Decided to make a statement

I thought about this last night and decided to do it today. Took down all of the Christmas lights, and put up two solid blue strands across the front fence.

That inspired me to copy your idea. I hope you don't mind.

I did a slight modification though and I thought it would be good for green as well as blue (cause they don't make brown...) so I strung up lights that were blue and ones that were green. But they were not the OD green that I thought they would be. They were more of a bright green. And while I did not really mind that the green was off a bit, appareently someone else did cause this morning I found my green and blue lights cut in several locations and my house egged by someone who apparently is a bird hater. They left a note telling me I sucked for supporting seahawks or something... Whatever, I don't even have any birds... They must have been blind or an idiot though because Sea Hawks are not blue or green, they are black and white... I have now been inspired to also kick one if I ever get close enough.



I just finished cleaning it all up and I will go back to the store to see if they have any regular lights...

I have a blue light bulb out in front of my house to support my fallen brothers and sisters.

We had the iTwinkle lights and after the NYPD shootings, changed them to all blue from the iPad. Not many folks drive by our place out in the boonies though. The UPS lady thought it was a nice touch.
