77, it does sound like you got the run-around on your deal there and that does indeed suck. I think however for the non-FFL slap (like me) individual (gun-a-month-club) like me, ProForce seems to work out. Yeah their lines have always been long, but that's "demand" for ya. As a line customer that goes in to buy the occasional firearm, they've always treated me well and many times their prices couldn't be beat elsewhere.

Unfortunately I think you had a business-to-business (aka: dealer-to-dealer) agreement that just went south on you. For the individual "joe," they're not too shabby.

We just had half a dozen recruits exit the academy who were also asking for back up weapons. Total of eight guns.

Just FYI, the Glock 42 in not "on roster." I understand that may not be relevant for you because you are sworn (and I'm assuming roster exempt), but it appears from all the info you provided that for some reason ProForce became concerned you were going to be viewed as a straw purchaser. If you gave someone at ProForce the impression that any of the people you were selling to were not sworn peace officers, that may have caused them to scuttle the sale. For instance, if you gave them the impression one of these was going to (non-exempt) "family members," as you indicated in the quote above, that may have been where things deteriorated.

I have had mixed interactions with proforce. Today however, was quite shockingly one of the best. I bought a glock 19 and a glock 42 without issue and without a wait. I was shocked to see that only two other people were in the store for once. But the process was very quick and the guy helping me was extremely nice and even gave me an excellent suggestion for a pocket holster for the 42, which i subsequently bought. Anyway, i know this place is hit or miss, and today i just got a hit i guess. The 19th will be a very happy day for me!

I agree with the above poster I purchased a g42 emailed to make sure it was in stock then went down to make purchase. I've bought numerous firearms from them and luckily have only had very good experiences

Never had any bad experiences with them. Can't say good things about them except waiting time. Walked in there today to get a sig p320. Surprisingly place was dead with 0 customers. I loved it...

                pro force

I have purchased numerous guns at proforce and never had an issue. There are busy days when it is crowded, so I go on week days and it is less busy. Bought last wedsday and I was the only one in the store.

I've purchased from them in the past and have purchased multiple firearms from them. But last year I went in there and it was jacked up. A line out the door and terrible customer service.

I shop at the OC Academy Store now. They are run by Adamson Police. Have had good experiences with both locations. There prices may run $20 bucks more than Proforce, but you don't get the circus show. Just my experience.

Why are you even going to proforce? You have an FFL, just buy the guns from Davidson's and they'll ship them right to you.
