passed my background cdcr, what to expect next?

I got through my test, physical fitness, background, now on to the next thing. What should I expect? Any words of advice?

Next should be an offer for an institution. FYI, you can decline 3 times before you have to do everything all over, again. That being said, if you have a preference for an institution let them know. Finally, don't do anything stupid, i.e. DUI, speeding tickets, domestic, etc, until you have cleared probation. I've been on for 7 years it's a good dept with a lot of opportunities.

If they don't offer you old Folsom, just ask for it. They just might call back with that offer. FYI, I went to the academy with a woman who wanted CMF and was offered somewhere else first. She asked if they were hiring for CMF, and was told no. She got another call, the next day, for CMF.

You can contact the warden to do a wardens request if you want old folsom.

as far as the process, after you get cleared through backgrounds, they'll contact you in a few weeks and you'll be scheduled your pre-employment medical and your written psych eval.

what should i expect from the POPE written and verbal Ive heard alot of people failing this part on the process due to some BS, others not answering correctly etc...

BTW i got laid off from sprint at rancho cordova call center in april and am putting all my eggs in one basket for this job. I want this job so bad.
