Adamson's didn't have any shields in stock and he quoted roughly $399 plus tax. Looks like I'll need to take a trip down south soon.

How does it work with Quantico if I wanted to have one shipped to me. Oceanside is a little to far of a drive for me. Can I just have them transfer it to my local ffl? The last place I called trying to get a shield transferred to me wouldn't do a transfer to California.

Check with your local FFL to confirm they are good with receiving the firearm. Contact Quantico to order and have them ship to your local FFL.

There are verification process in between that your FFL and Quantico has to work out but if they are both willing to play, it's pretty simple.

From my limited knowledge a transfer "TO" Ca requires extraneous DOJ letter granting permission to an out of state FFL. Before they can legaly ship firearm into the state. It costs nothing but does require paperwork and time on the part of the out of state FFL, so many just refuse to ship "TO" Ca.

Which is exactly why Commyfornia has such a requirement.

In state between FFL's is just a phone call or fax away.

Call Quantico and ask.
