    Just spreading the word

For any that qualify S&W is giving fat discounts for "First Responders"

We are proud to participate in S&W's LE/Military/1st Responder program which offers many popular S&W weapons at significant discounts to eligible customers. Eligible customers are:

Military: (Active, Reserve and Retired; to include medically retired)
Law Enforcement: Active and Retired Sworn Officers
    1st Responders: Firefighters, paramedics, etc.
    Private Security
This is C&P from an add from Quantico Tactical but others are also honoring the discount

If posted improperly in wrong forum, oops newb here just spreading word on a good deal.

Quantico tells you the S&W First Responder Discount is why such schweeet deals.

Allstate in San Dimas also gives similar pricing discount but doesn't openly say it comes from S&W

      I even drove down there.

Here is a link to the Shield 9.

Not pimp'n just a kind word where due.

Adamson Police Supply in Hayward is the S&W and Sig LE dealer in the Bay Area.

Better to drop by if you aren't too far. They can get pretty busy.

I've been on the list for a Shield 9mm (Ca. version since I'm retired) for 1 1/2yrs from Allstate. In fact, I'm #1 for the 9mm, even tho I'm #3 overall. The other two want the .40cal. The price has been $323 from the get go.

Unfortunately, I may as well be #3000, since the only ones they get are the LE version and it is going off the roster on July 2. They told me they would not be getting a Ca. version by that date.

I happened to be in Bullseye gun store last Friday just looking around after a dr.'s appt. nearby and a customer was buying a 9mm. They had another one and the cash price was $429. I bought it and now I just saw this thread.:face palm:

Even tho it's too late for me, out of curiosity pac rat, is yours the LE version or the Ca. version. Does Quantico even have the latter. Also, sorry about your user name; the auto correct will not permit me to type your name as one, it separates it into two words. ccw sometimes comes out cow.

Maybe I'll buy extra mags there if going to the beach.

Quantico has both LE and Ca versions.

They come with 2 mags a 7 and an 8 and a sillyazz cable loc.

OTD price is $380.26 Sweet deal IMO.

Adamson's didn't have any shields in stock and he quoted roughly $399 plus tax. Looks like I'll need to take a trip down south soon.
