Leo's and families, thank you for your response, just to put aside any concerns from some of the commentators, this post is/was heart felt. I know its rare, but that is more about the "citizens" than those that serve. I know from my own discussions, all of the calgun members and non members i have discussed this with all uniformly have the same feelings.

Kestryl made a suggestion a while back (let me paraphrase) "If you want to find out what is going on in Law Enforcement - JOIN UP". Good advice well spoken!

I have my opinions in regards to Law Enforcement Officers and understand that News Organizations sometimes have an ax to grind and sensationalize Law Enforcement Officers actions, omitting information OR just making information up to the detriment of Good Order and to the Law Enforcement Agency.

You guys AND gals have a tough AND unforgiving job!

So, you all get a excellent for PRESERVING, ENFORCING AND PROTECTING with a Thank You, job well done!
