Most probably already know this but, on most models, Glock never intended the slide lock to be a slide release. The slide release is you racking the slide. That's the way it was designed. If your department allows you to modify stuff, these are some of the things I would recommend: vickers tactical slide release, (especially on the 21 since the oem slide release is almost flush with the frame), ameriglo Hackathorn sights, but I know a lot of people that also really like the trijicon HD sights. For a light I would recommend the Streamlight TLR-1 HL. If you want to add extra "grippiness" to the grip, you can get talon grips for pretty cheap. There are also some companies that you can send your frame out to and they will do some stippling for you. Hope this helps.

Decided to go with stippling and a stainless steel guide rod.
