Is there any long term studies on these types of things?
The back braces they sell in stores that are belts with suspenders that tend to squeeze your sides might be bad for you. I caught a bit of a conversation where employees were told to stop wearing them because they might do more harm then good. I would hope that these would not be the same way but tread with caution. I used nylon everything when I was a CEO 99-12. Many SD that I worked with said that the nylon was much lighter and they preferred it. I do not think that RCSD has a strict policy on it though.

We use the nylon when we are wearing BDU's. Other than that, it's the conventional patrol belt. That is interesting that the metal began to warp. I was wondering what kinda material they used. It makes sense that it would bend after repeated use and with that kinda price tag it would be a hard tab to swallow after awhile. Thanks for the heads up.
