I contacted the local police department in my area for more information. When it comes to using a department logo and patch in the images, there is a strict procedure that we need to follow. We have to submit a letter to the department for permission. This is not common but it has been approved by some departments. Some department I talked to (LAPD and Brea PD) gave me a definite no because of trademark issue.

This can be a long process and something we are not interested in. To avoid all of this issue, we will provide you with a uniform shirt, fake badge and emblems for the photo shoot. However, we need you to bring your own duty gear such as radio, belt, body armor, holster, handgun, boots, etc..

For now, the best we can do is offer you free items for your time. We have some Streamlight Stingers sitting on our shelf right now...

You might be right. We are also looking into a modeling agency.

Hopefully you weren't the "before" picture.

What was funny in the locker room was the guy who was on a dating service t.v. commercial. Very funny indeed

Somehow I picked up the nickname 'Artie Grossman'.

What does that mean? Why do the fellas whisper that on direct when I am getting my 3am donut fix?
