    Mag/Cuff Combo

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for a mag/cuff combo and I'm having a hard time finding exactly what I want.

I want one that is black, plain leather, fits the M&P 9 magazine, and has a belt loop. I've seen a few of them except they all seem to be paddle designs.

So something like this, just with a belt loop.

I am a law enforcement officer in the state of Colorado. Nothing I post is legal advice of any kind.

Why are you wanting a belt loop? I have ran both styles and much prefer the paddle.

No issues with drawing, when I have to take a dump, it comes off quick. But the beauty is when you gotta pull your drawers back up. With a belt style, you need three hands to keep them up and get everything tucked in and cinched down. The paddle you just buckle up and then don the paddle. Much easier.

I use the same thing you are asking for, and the only one I know if made by Don Hume. I have been using this combo since 2002, and still carry my original mag and handcuff punch. Has the belt loops and won't look bulky under a regular shirt. Hugs the body very well.

Just remember if you go with the Safariland set up as pictured by PsychGuy274 the belt goes between the backside of the case and paddle, it's NOT made for inside the pants. There is a hook on the paddle, it hooks under the belt.

I've lost count of how many plainclothes officers have come out to qualify only to have the whole set up come flying out of their pants during a reload.
