I don't know if it is generally known or obvious, but most of the shots through the windshield are from the officer firing at the BG.

I am a bit surprised, that the driver didn't just drive into the sidee of the suspect vehicle when the BG exited already shooting. I thought maybe he had gotten out of the car already, but you can see that the car hadn't stopped yet when the first shot, from the BG, is fired.

The follow up shots, after the head shot on the BG, just shows you how long it takes to react and stop shooting

Part of the reason I went back to 9mm from .45 was because I had been reading that the lighter, higher velocity round would shoot straighter through the windshield.

The head shot obviously turned off his lights right away. I continue to be thankful that bad guys usually don't bother learning how to shoot and move efficiently.

I would have definitely preferred not to have gotten as close to the vehicle right as he got out, and ramming the bad guy's car would have been a good option, but I'm not quarterbacking it. The good guys made it home and the bad guy didn't. That's what matters.

I've shot at a bad guy through his vehicles windshield.. basically saved his *** cause the rounds were deflecting upward. Looks like that may have helped the one copper from getting hit. Scary *** video.. could've gone either way looks like.

It doesn't matter all that much. If you punch a hole through the windshield with the first shot, you can just use the hole for followup shots. There is a scene in the movie Peacekeeper where George Clooney's character shoots through the windshield of his Mercedes...the way it is correctly taught.

Me too. You'll notice that the BG is point shooting as he is getting out of the car

The good guys made it home and the bad guy didn't. That's what matters.

Absolutely... However, I see why he didn't. When he exited the gun was not immediately visible. and he was already getting ready to throw it in park.

I would be embarrassed to wear their badge. I've seen security guards with better ones. Hehe. Glad they were OK though and the POS got what he had coming.

That badge is a keeper. So many reasons why. Those guys definitely made it happen in the clutch. Good for them!
