#2 haircut for taking POST?

Im going to take my POST tomorrow. I'll be going in a suit and tie. I'll also need a recomended haircut to impress the POST staffers.

+1 on the clean shave. I glance around and am shocked how some people present themselves at test sites. Sure, never judge a book by its cover yet a first impression is hard to shake. Neat short and clean has been my approach. Helps hide the receding hairline and bald spot up top too

Yeah it wouldn't hurt to dress up, i've been to mass efficient written tests where about 100 people show up. (Some dopes show up in street clothes others in suit/tie-given in the larger crowds it's easier to stay anonymous.) I've also been at written exams with no more than 8 test takers and a panel of brass and City Managers handing out the scantrons. So dressing nice, shining your shoes and having the physical appearance of an on duty officer are a good bet. Just don't get too flashy, keep your sunglasses off your head, your sleeves down, and don't wear a silky shirt. Look professional but don't look like your headed to a ritzy night club.

Shaved head (maybe military flap-top), clean nails, and clean-shaven. No sideburns. Good luck!

Just buy some clippers and go no guard all around. It's simple and clean.

The Law enforcement community is a small place. More than likely you will get away with it but the consequences of showing up looking like a bag of dicks are tremendious

Don't show up sagging pants or like you are an extra from Jersey Shore, other than that, just be clean and look like you want the job.
