Check out the Fenix pd-32 ultimate edition...
The 750 lumens it throws are awesome...
You can select its output also...great light.
It uses 18650 rechargeable batteries and will also run on two cr123 batteries.
Fenixoutfitters is where I get mine...great people too.
I love my sure fires but they just don't have the power that the Fenix lights do....

We are issued Stingers and they work well. If you are looking for a small 2 cell cr123 light, look at Fenix series. I was given one at a show a couple years ago and now I swear by them. I've got a TK11 or TK12 on my vest, one in every car, and a couple scattered around my house. When they were a newer company you good find them pretty cheap, now they are closer in price to other quality cr123s but you can still find good deals if you shop around.

Not a LEO, but I do sell accessories to them. The Stream Light Stinger LED is very popular.

            Re: SF Lawman

Likes - SF product, 750 lumens, power supply options

Dislikes - reflector (prefer smooth), twist tail cap for constant on, proprietary battery carrier/housing, exposed recharging port, high $$

Stream light strion led rechargeable. Extremely bright and small.

My department uses the pelican 7060 led. They are bright. Not to heavy either.

I used to carry a SL-20X in my sap pocket when I was on patrol.

Klarus xt11 and Olight M20 are both fantastic
Urban legends are a poor basis for making public policy.

Surefire 6P LED, Surefire G2 LED, or a Streamlight Scorpion LED. I have used all of those lights and I can attest to their durability, ease of use, and availability of duty gear & replacement units. Any one of those would be a good choice. Cheers! --1911ShooterPhil

I can attest to the Stinger HL. Just got mine last week. Super freakin' bright. I also bought a used Streamlight Protac HL that uses CR123 batteries, to be my backup.

Replaced an old Stinger XT that I had for years. Broke the LED upgrade and decided time to move on. All I carry are Streamlight (I also have an SL20X) and the little Inova keychain lights. Nothing else.
