First, just because an officer doesn't explain their reason for a stop right away does not mean that they do not have one or can't articulate it in a report. If you had even the least bit of actual experience you would know that there are reasons why an officer wouldn't want to start off with this.
Second, I am starting to see a pattern of "I've heard that", I've been told this", "People have told me". As much as you want to come across as knowledgeable, you have no real world experience as a civilian LEO and yet, you somehow assume that you know more about doing the job than LEO's that have actually done it for decades. You have given advise, portraying yourself as a knowledgeable LEO that could get people hurt or arrested. Do you not think that this alone could turn people against LEO's, when they follow your advise and find out that some "LEO" gave them bad info. You claim that you are trying to help the profession and yet all I see you doing is telling people that the actual Civilian LEO's here, that have done the job for years, are wrong.
Please do the posters that come here to ask for information a favor and stick to what you know, not what you think you know.
