Stop loitering in strip club parking lots...

Here is a link to your post related to loitering in strip club parking lots.

Stop blaming agencies for unforeseen financial situations
I should change my avatar because is "advocates and promotes marijuana use"?

My avatar reprsents the principles on which this country was founded. Freedom and liberty. When Thomas Jefferson decided to let the hemp grow freely in his back yard, when did it become a criminal offense to put the nuggets in his pipe and inhale the smoke? Where is the victim of this crime?

A law enforcment officer or deputy is an at-will employee. True, LEO's are held to a higher standard than the general public. They are supposed to be the leaders...be able to de-escalate sitiations...and keep a cool head under stress...but, they are not joining a secret society of the elite.

Take a look at the people that have been hired in the past by LASD. Shaved heads and tatted up, harrassing inmates, being member of gangs, getting DUI's and Domestic Battery charges, etc. Something needs to change. You can take a look at basically any corporation that treats its employees with dignity and respect and you will find a FAR less number of disgruntled employees.
I do not have any shady background. In fact, I received my conditional job offer from Border Patrol and few other local agencies not that long ago. I ended up turning those offers down because I am a Deputy now.

However, it took me little over 4 years to get conditional job offers from those departments. It takes time and patience..

Also, I respect my department. I may not like the way high ups (brass) run the department, but I am always thankful I have a job and thankful they gave me a chance to prove myself to the department.

I do not know you or know your current situation, but you are not doing anything positive for yourself in this thread.

      Good luck

If that is the way you really feel, then why did you apply there?

So grow your hemp, and smoke your dope....Just don't expect to ever get hired a an LEO....

Smoking marijuana has been a criminal offense since the mid 1930's

Since your such a crusader of doing the right thing and acting in a lawful manner how can you on one hand state that you hate the lawlessness in the LASD, and on the other hand advocate openly breaking felony drug laws???
            Poke'm with a stick!

There are freedoms and principles you are going to have to give up, to a certain degree, if you want this job/life...P&P's and your command staff will have a lot to say in how you act on and off duty, that is if you want to stay employed long enough to get your basic POST. It's not a "toe the line" while you're working and then do whatever Thomas Jefferson and the founding fathers said I can do when you're not working.
I would step back, look in the mirror and have a long talk with yourself, before you apply somewhere else.

Some of my favorite AceHound posts, particularly since he wants to get into LE:

When I left the strip club, right outside the door 2 male hispanics wearing all dark clothes, about 21 years old, asked me "excuse me sir do you have a dollar?"

I replied, "No sorry bro I'm droppin em'a ll in here" with a smile on my face and continued to the parking lot to my truck. As i arrived at my truck (in the dark parking lot all alone), the 2 of them walk at me and basically corner me at my truck in the corner of the parking lot. The one who had asked me before if I had a dollar now says to me "Excuse me sir do you have some money, we're stranded, blah blah blah." He had one hand in his pocket and I felt very uncomfortable. He and his friend had me cornered in a controntational manner.

I felt like anything besides giving him a few dollars would have lead to violence. Unforunately, I am a law abiding citizen and therefore did not have my M&P40 loaded, or even in my vehicle or on my person!

So I said "geez well if you're stranded then I guess, I know what it's like to be stranded". I opened my wallet and starting pulling out 1's. I said "a gallon of gas whats that about 5 dollars". He replied sarcastically "just about".

Let me tell you, I felt like they were confronting me and I was about to get the **** beaten out of me. Why, because it was late, in a strip club parking lot, i drive a very flashy truck, i'm white and this is a hispanic area.

I wish I had my M&P40 so I could have pulled it out, pointed it at him, and gave verbal commands of "get the **** out here, I'm not giving you ****, and if you dont back off I'm going to kill both of you right now".

But I coulnd't because I follow the law. **** you people who won't let me bear arms.

I agree with those of you who understand the feeling I had. After telling the panhandlers/thugs no, they cornered me and I was unarmed. One got closer to me, about 4 feet and had one hand in his pocket as if he had a knife. My ONLY option was to SUBMIT. I didn't even hastate to say no again- all I could do was act like his friend and give him my MONEY.

You ****ing pricks need to understand what robbery is, and somebody who said this is our country, my ancestors who fought and died for it, and my free domain-I agree with you. I will go wherever I want, be it a strip club, a casino, or what have you, I will not fear street thugs.

Those who have ever been in law enforcement know about the story where some dumb colleague does something so wrong that his associates tell him...

"It's not everyday when someone actually knows the exact day when one's career ends"...

Well it appears based on Ahound's posts it's clear that today is "that" day for his career......Even though he never really had a career to begin with....
