Good grief, this is horrible. I cannot begin to imagine how horrified and how awful the officer who shot him feels. This is the worse nightmare scenario. My heart goes out to the slain officer's wife, kids, and family. I hope the other officer does ok.

Rest in peace our fallen brethren. Prayers to the family, coworkers and friends...of both officers.

Condolences to the family, friends and coworkers. Thoughts for a successful healing process to the other officer. RIP Ofc. Davies.
You may not like guns, and choose not to own one. That is your right. You might not believe in God. That is your choice. However, if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you're going to do are, 1) Call someone with a gun, 2) Pray they get there in time.

I live in Lakewood somewhat close to where this happened. I've met numerous Lakewood officers and they've all been amazing. Unfortunately, I never had the honor of meeting Officer Davies. I called the PD to send my condolencses.
