Wow, people nowadays have no faith in humanity. I do know what I'm talking about. My cousin was stabbed 47 times by her husband and killed. Do I hate the bastard? Yes. Do I wish he was dead? Yes. If the court system and a jury of his peers came to the verdict and sentence that they did based on the evidence provided, who am I to judge? I believe society and humanity have a greater purpose than to sit here and hate. What if he truly changed? Who am I to judge? He's a dumb**** and he goes and commit the crime again, so be it. Strap him up and let him be a vegetable. Like I said, I believe in second chances. You're telling me none of you guys were young before? None of you have done something you never regretted doing? Didn't you all grow up and now have a mind that's sturdier and stronger? Who are you to judge the fate of this man? Our justice system is flawed but I would like to give him the benefit of the doubt.

ok I read the article in full and it still doesn't change my opinion of him. Even when I was a kid, I knew it was a pretty big act to pull a trigger period. To do it because you are in a fight with someone is equally as big. It may not take days worth of planning, but it is still a pretty damn deliberate act. So are the reasons to get into a fight with another adult. Notice how the article doesn't describe the circumstances.

Now how do you hate someone and yet still try to convince us and you that we all have a higher purpose. That's the biggest load of crap I have heard. You hate the guy that stabbed your cousin but you wont do anything about it except advocating giving the guy a second chance. It's not like the guy just smacked your cousin around. Now, back to the topic. From my first read of the article, I felt this was a crime of passion. I may be wrong. All I'm saying is that an altercation is a squabble between two human beings. The victim being a cop should not change our emotions toward the matter. If the cop killer was resisting arrest or something of that nature, then I will completely agree with you. When I was reading it, I imagine two guys in civilian cloths getting into an argument. If I have offended your beliefs in any way, I apologize. I'm just more open-minded than I would like to be.
