Well, I'm considering it anyway. Sent some questions to the recruitment office, and I'm reading the FAQ at the top of this board.

It's been one of my interests for quite some time, and if the right doors open, it would provide more than enough income for my current situation. I'll update more as I progress through the process(and after I get off work ), so any comments and advise are appreciated.

That's not the only, or even the main reason if that's what you're advising

It's definitely not a negative feature,(neither are 11+rd mags ) and its more than I'm making now, but It's more that I'd like to contribute something to society... And I am just intrigued by it.

Oddly enough (or maybe less than coincidence?) my last client today was an officer. Got to ask him quite a few questions and had some interesting conversation.

If you haven't already, get started on improving your physical fitness. There's not enough "P.T. studs" in law enforcement. Not only will fitness help you do a better job, but it may in fact save your life.

My advice...Don't get discouraged with the application process. If you stay persistent, you will get there.

improve endurance. It's the way they punish everyone when someone screws up. Endurance is half of it. The other half is mental endurance
