What options would you suggest in case the house gets "occupied" by some drug addicts, and I am upstairs? Case of Air-horns and Zip-ties (with my ear-plugs on )? What would be a good cali-legal option for clearing an area, pepper-grenades?

I live in a pretty nice area (not gated or anything, but newer community), not too city-fied, but with the economy so bad, all politicians corrupt, and the Obama admin not really able to understand logic, reason, and small businesses unable to keep their head above water with all the regulations requiring a new personnel to be hired just to comply with all the new bureaucracy that if the economy collapses much further then I would like to have a couple backup plans for home security... just in case.

I just see drug addicts to be the first people to flip when they have no drug money... and we all know that addicts are in their right mind, and never rape, or get violent.

Just make sure you know what to do when the person you pepper sprayed keeps coming at you like like he wasn't sprayed at all.

Having worked in a custody facility, I can attest to the fact that can and does occur. One time, one of the Lts. sprayed this long time idiot and troublemaker with 3 cans of the stuff and the inmate just wiped it off his shaved skull, licked it and asked for more.

No effect whatsoever and he wasn't under the influence of anything. He had been sprayed so often with OC over the years that he was in custody, that it evidently didn't bother him anymore.

Just have a plan as JTROKS suggests.
