The shop I get my autos from keeps records for the Feds should they be audited. Anyone in Moreno Valley want to walk in and challenge them?

I have personally asked dealers and a manufacturer in CA under what exemption to CA's switchblade laws they use to legally sell to LEOs/.mil. None of them have been able to tell me what the exemption is, with one specifically stating that he knew that there wasn't an actual exemption to 653k, but that he would keep selling them until he was arrested, and then he would fight it in court.

and disregarding the fact that dealers might be selling illegally, nobody has been able to explain under what exemption LEOs carry under.

In 2006 I went to the Train the Trainer Duty Knife course run by Cutting Edge Training. They were the official knife trainers for Benchmade. The Instructor George T Williams told us they was no exception in California for LEOs. In fact the sample duty knife policy he gave us states no auto knives on it. He said military on base (California)and deployed in war zones were ok.

The real test will be a LEO using an auto knife in defense of his/her life and suspects lawyer/legal team questioning it.

Just some information and thoughts I wanted to add to the discussion.
