I read about this last night. I've been hearing that Ogden has become a major meth den.sigpic

A quick search for news articles with "Ogden and meth" yields a lot of relatively recent articles.

That stuff is evil and becoming more pervasive across the country. No amount of legalization would ever solve for the behavior it spawns.
Prayers for the officer lost and his family, and best wishes for a speedy recovery out to the wounded.

Tragic. My thoughts go out to the families.
Truly. I recall speaking to NPS Rangers decades ago who were saying DEA was handing them M-16s and sending them into underground meth labs in the desert with the warning, "Do NOT shoot anything down there!"
They thought they were going to be looking for forest fires...
Meth is a nightmare in this country. Evil indeed.Last edited by 2Bear; 01-05-2012, 10:09 PM.sigpic Lucky you.Comment

R.I.P. and a speedy recovery to the wounded.
Originally posted by E Pluribus UnumDuring Y2K my neighbor and I were talking and he said he had a basement full of water and canned food. He asked if I had stocked up and I said that I had. I told him I bought a 12 guage shotgun, a .308 rifle and several bricks of .22 ammo.
He is an anti-gun guy and he said. "Well, you can't eat ammunition". I replied with "When I'm starving to death with a case of ammunition, who's door do you think I am going to knock on?"Comment
