Slightly off topic, but there are still a lot of motorists out there who insist on leaving their minor TC vehicles in lanes until LE arrives. Apparently they think a fender bender is a crime scene and must be preserved lest it compromise the investigation. Ridiculous.

        Hysterically funny, thanks

One of our friends just graduated and became a firefighter in our town. I asked him if he remembered my address in case I needed saving

During his grad speech, he apologized to all the cops in the room (we're from that family too) for going over to the Dark Side. His dad and uncles are LEOs. He's a great kid and will do well running around in his fire gear

I was always jealous about the fact that firemen get a recliner when they graduate their academy and we don't.

Don't know about that so much... I piss a lot of people off on the basketball court (especially in our police v. fire game). No one likes losing to a fat white kid, only to find out later that we was also a cop with a bum knee.

Being in shape only gets you so far... Having talent... Well, that requires more than dragging a hose!

We probably would be, but we would have to schedule an appointment to get a hand in.

To many gals fighting for that fire pole.

I think it's a given that FD > LE in Female Attracting.

Not to say that you guys are completely clueless (after all I am a visitor on your forum). But we seem to have a better reputation with the ladies.

Love it! Also I'm sooooo glad my protocols aren't based on mechanism. (Although I've had to argue that point with the ED staff a few times)
