      Smitty,

Wow! That was very generous of you! Especially in these times of economic crisis. Kudos to you.

Smitty, next time, save your money. Instead, walk up to them, shake their hands, and thank them. They will appreciate it just as much as the free "cup o' joe", and you can use that cash for some ammo.

Gnome, I don't do it very much and id much rather give back an extra 50chkn bux than my wife taking it for stupid **** she doesn't need. However I do engaged a friendly conversation when I do see them, one of the ladies was nice enough not to write me a ticket for being on my phone about a year ago, don't think she remembers me and im not about to call her out on it in front of her colleagues...
On the ammo, believe me I buy ammo like there's no tomorrow

760, reading this actually put a smile on my face. I can't stand the Chargers, but one of my bestfriends is a die hard Chargers fan, so I tolerate them. And I would rather root for them, than the Chiefs or Broncos!

Edit: I'm proud that this is my 1,000th post, and that it is in a thread with this as the topic.

Fan mail is the one thread I don't mind seeing brought back to life. Big thanks to all of you who are out there. I wish I could still be out there with you. Stay safe, stay sharp. Complacency is the devil.

I can honestly say I miss it. Being forced to retire medically has a lot to do with it I will admit.

As gadsenarmory said, thanks to you who are out there. Vest up, be safe and don't ever be complacent.

This is the official feel good post of the fall. I'm getting all warm and toasty inside.

I do love the fire and emt guys. It is a mutually dependent relationship we have with them that keeps the city from becoming unglued. ALWAYS glad to see them at calls. My thanks all around.
