      If you did something at work where you had to testify in court, if would be proper for your employer to compensate you. It is totally irrelevant to the case or the facts at hand. There are a lot of subject matter experts who get paid for their testimony. You think all those people who testified on behalf of O.J. Simpson were doing it for free?

      And almost every city I ever dealt with automatically has the traffic survey updated as required by law, and in LA County, copies are kept at the courts so the officer doesn't have to bring a copy. Most traffic judges will take "judicial notice" that the survey is correct and current.

              For those of you who posted methods to fight a ticket, please do not do that in this forum; save it for the OT forum. This is the leo forum and if you read the rules at the top of the forum, you will see what the purpose of this forum is as established by the owner.

              Active and retired leos do not want to read posts by non leo members on how to beat a ticket in this forum. If you have a legitimate question to ask of one of us, as did the OP, feel free to do so in a civil manner and your post will stay and the thread will more than likely remain open.

              This thread has outlived its usefulness.
