One of my friends is SDPD, so was sweating it until my wife heard the name on TV.
At least they killed one of the human filth involved in this.
There was a highspeed chase earlier from the previous shooting and they had to call it off as it got over 100 mph so they got away only to murder this poor cop.
Where is Blue Thunder to put a depleted uranium round through the engine block?
I just don't think the same way society does I guess.

I too have sent prayers for the Officer, family and fellow officers and friends.
My son in law is a SGT in Gilroy. He recently went on graveyard.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.Comment

The SDPD Officer did not make it according to the Captain.
May he rest in peace.
There is now a incident on the Coronado Bay Bridge pos related to this shooting. I'm following it on RCS S - LE S CMD. CHP, SDSD, SDPD, Coronado PD are on it. Subject stated "He will shoot any LE that he has in his sights".I'm not a LEO nor Lawyer, none of what I say can nor should be used as legal advice.Comment

Officer Henwood was with the department for four years. He was also Captain Henwood, USMCR, and had been to the sandbox recently for his third tour. Dedicated to serving is, I think, an understatement in the case of this man's life.
Thoughts and prayers to the SDPD family as well as to his Marine Corps brothers.
