Lexipol's approach to policy through risk management is becoming the rage with brass all over. And it ain't cheap. Longer term I'm betting you'll see / hear more about them as the cases around CCW issuance continue forward as their model policy on issuance is in wide use as I understand it.

We've had it for a few years. Brass was good about checking in the beginning but since I haven't completed one in over a year, they have either stopped checking/forgotten, or don't care if my division comported them.Comment

My agency has been using this for the past three years. It came as a "Cookie Cutter" policy manual that was quickly found to have many faults. We have gone through countless revisions to bring it in line. All in all, a big PITA. One positive for us is that it changed many of our old "shall" and "will" verbs with "can" and "may", providing a little more wiggle room when covering your ***.Comment

We have had it for 5-6 years and it was a PITA at first mostly due to the fact we went from 20 year old policies on paper to a paperless system. We may have stopped paying them after the initial change because the only changes we make are the ones we want such as allowing 1911s.Comment
