    Wow! Bad situation not finding the gun.

    Reminds me of that one video where they had one guy in for questioning, and the give him a bottle of water, walk out, and he takes a sip and then pulls out a 1911...

                Because they were the only news crew at the scene. Fox, ABC news n etc...were too busy at the strawberry festival.

                    It's impossible they will not see that at first contact. Is it their (PO) procedure to call a female police office when there is a female suspect to do the body search? Right?

                        Some departments maybe... Ours, we are to use the backs of our hands in the sensitive areas. It is crazy to me that so many people missed that weapon.

                        I will say this though... I think it was liability. There is so much liability out there, that officer safety takes a back seat, AND OF COURSE IT SHOULD NOT!

                        That is one reason why I hate it when I see people post on CGN saying things like, "that cop is blood thirsty, he wanted to hurt that guy blah blah blah." If they are worried about liability from a search incident to arrest, how are they going to feel about things that carry more liability?
