A very insightful RTO taught us to act and assume there were cameras and recorders on us at all times - this scene was NOT the purpose for his advise; however, it could not ring any truer than in this instance.
The media is the media and we, as cops, have no control of how they spin our actions and what they decide to actually release for public viewing.
Fortunately for our guys, this one ended in nothing other than someone's jacket getting a LOAD of paper.Comment

I don't get it... if the news camera spotted it, and they didn't point it out... and let the person walk in a secured facility... and then tried to make the officer out as incompetent... forget it... why bother trying to make sense when the media is involved.I like guns
