IMHO I think blatant anti LEO posters should get the ban stick forever. Some of the guys who post are either parinoid, stupid, criminal, or all three. if one of them goes off and pulls a virginia tech scenario and his past posts are used on newsreels all of the good work of calguns will be discounted greatly.

I usually end up hitting the "report" button because all of those threads devolve into an anti-LE slam fest.

Even as a civilian with respect for authority I get fed up sometimes here. I tend not to read anything that starts with "I was stopped" or "My interaction with LEO"... Just for the same reason... it usually turns into the dreaded cops are the evil man trying to keep their jack boots on my neck etc etc. Like their jobs aren't hard enough. Then people wonder why cops hang with cops.

1. Don't have to worry about joe schmuck lighting up a doobie while your hanging out.

2. Don''t have to listen to the "mans trying to keep me down" rhetoric.

3. Able to talk to people who can relate to their experiances and daily grind.

As an aside thanks for you service. With the draconian cuts in Sacramento's LEOs I can only feel for you and try to vote to help. Wish the Sacramento Council would worry less about the Kings and more about putting cops and firefighters on the streets. Wonder how many cops we could rehire with 72 million dollars those douchebag Maloofs owe the County.
