Danny was a great person. He was a humble man who always had your back. I remember him pulling a suspect off my back one New Years Eve at a huge party that turned into a brawl with shots fired in East Valinda.

He was an Army vet and a member of the "Old Guard" He was a pallbearer at the funeral of Audie Murphy.

It seems I would run into him every year at Knotts and it was always like we had just seen each other the week before.
