Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

The one officer asks me what im doing down their and where i am coming from.I tell him.He then says i have a 3rd brake light out.My 3rd brake light is clear from factory so how would he know its supposed to be 3rd brake light and not cargo dome right? He then asks for reg and license i give it to him.

He then asks if i am the primary driver on the vehicle and i say no im borrowing it from my mom right now.He then asks if i am the secondary driver and if i drive it more than my mom.Trolling just a little bit?He even asked for my moms name as it appears on the insurance.I told him i dont drive it more than her and im borrowing it for the night and gave him my moms name.

He then proceeds to get a little bit of an attitude and real snippy like he is trolling for somthing and he didnt find anything so hes a little mad.He then proceeds to go back issue a fix it ticket for a 3rd brake light. He comes back up then drops all the paperwork on the ground and looked like he was nervous kinda shaking in the hands.... it was real weird.i sign to say i will appear in court or fix problem.

He then says be careful backing out.I wait till hes gone then start up my truck and leave. Why the hell did he pull me over? Really just for a 3rd brake light? So since i didnt do anything bad and have both rear brakes at farthest back of vehicle working properly i gotta spend $13 bucks for somthing this stupid.

Sorry for the leos in here.im not flamming or being anti but i mean come on their has to be more serious stuff down their than pulling me over for a 3rd brake light...now i gotta go buy a bulb fix it then track down a leo in my town to sign off on it.its just very aggravating
This is NOT the forum for you to be complaining about your ticket and the officer who stopped and cited you. If you had read the rules in the sticky at the top of this forum, you would have realized that.

You are permitted to ask a civil question of a legal nature. Whining about receiving a cite because you failed to keep your lights in proper working order as required, along with complaining about the officer not having more serious things to do is not permitted here.

This is Kestryll's Rule #3 for this forum: This is NOT a place to air your dislike of the Government, Law Enforcement, LEOs in general or the law in general. Doing so here will result in losing access to this forum.

Please review the remaining rules in the sticky. Thanks.

Even more interesting. Did you have a tail lamp out, too? Based on that VC, they couldn't have used it for the third lamp being out. The ticket should have mentioned (h) not (b).

Nice to see some of the calguns contributors are willing to help you out.

Again i was not airing my dislike of the leo or goverment.I stated what happened and asked questions about it which were answered by some and then other members got defensive about it taking it personal. Was figured out on first page but some people think they are funny and decided to chime in with no help on the questions at hand.Should of been left alone after that.

Don't be fooled as I was, this is the worst zombie movie ever!

Again let's recap... The only question you asked was "WHY THE HELL DID HE PULL ME OVER?" You answered that yourself. Nobody got defensive. I certainly didn't take it personal. I have no interest in your ticket, I certainly didn't write it, and furthermore, I'm not a cop. I just read your post and called it for what it was worth. But from your attitude after the stop, I can see how you'd feel that way. Maybe you think I should have something better to do than to be posting in your thread. Maybe you'd be right, but it's what I'm doing right now.
