M&P 2.0

I've put around 30k+ rounds through my duty 4.25" 2.0. I've shot mostly factory ammo and it has never had a problem. I just got the 5" model as a range/duty gun. The grip angle and grip inserts make it easy to fit it perfectly to your hand. Solid guns and I won't look twice at a Glock ever again.Comment

I carried both a 2.0 CORE, and once I had direct mill approved, a ATEI cut 2.0 with a 509t. I liked both, still carry the ATEI + 509t one off duty.
They have by far, some of the best factory grip texture out there. Trigger isn't bad, and they shoot well.
That said, I have been carrying a Sig 320 TXG now for a while, and for when concealment isn't a concern, I like it. Only downside, is it's freaking heavy.

^^^ 100%.I didn't find there to be a dramatic improvement in the trigger of the 2.0 out of the box. But the 2.0's respond nicely to live fire breaking in. Noticeable improvement after around 500 rounds, significant improvement after 750 or so. I'm not knocking aftermarket upgrades, but the gun sorts itself out fabulously with normal use.sigpic

I've got both a 4.25" ported Pro CORE, a 5" Pro CORE, and a 5" Pro Performance each with roughly 30k rounds through them and I've done any work to any of them. The 5" Pro is probably closer to 60k. Not a single spring, etc has been touched.
I did manage to break off the little take down lever thing on one of them...I don't remember which one as I've always just tripped the trigger.
...but those are all 1.0 pistols...presumably the 2.0 are as reliable.Comment

To be honest, the pistol cosmetically looks like is has a few thousand rounds through it. The slide has general holster wear, but, nothing excessive Barrel has the normal wear marks, doesn't look like a high round count pistol at all. The 2.0 trigger has been broken is great and has stayed consistent and predictable. The rifling inside the original barrel still looks very strong. I have changed the guide rod once, and that's because I had an extra one laying around. I did that around the 15k round mark. I shoot it on the weekends at public ranges, work range and classes. These pistols are made to last and keep on running. Just keep it slightly lubed and they are good to go. S&W hit a home run with this pistol! I've put another 1k rounds though it since my last post. I just got the 5" optic ready model and can't wait to put a ton of rounds through it.Comment
