Ask him to come in uniform (if allowed), maybe they will speed up the process.

Congrats and thank the LEO for me.

He would but it's his day off.

        Consider it done!

Most of my PPT were with LEO. Exactly the same as with regular citizens except for small talk about LEO incidents vs collectible firearm talk

I like PPT's with LEO. They always have their paperwork together and the best deals I've gotten on off-roster pistols are from LEO's.

I even had a PPT with the police chief of a small CA beach city. Cool guy.

This is my first PPT with a LEO, hopefully won't be my last!

And yes, I agree about getting a good deal.

Also my PPTs with LEOs have been smooth transactions. Same process as a civilian.

Just out of curiosity, would you mind sharing why you have it framed and hanging?

Yes, that is a little weird if it was not a famous cop.

In 23 years I have given out my autograph a lot. I'll bet no one has it hanging up on display, well maybe on a dart board.

                          I think it was satire.

Wear something nice. Dockers and a polo with some slip-ons. Matching belt.

Jeebus, please don't ask anyone to come while in uniform. That's no one's business and no, it won't make it go any faster. They're human just like everyone else. It is cringe worthy to expect special treatment.

The rookies that come in tossing their ID cards around act like FFL's have zero ties to their agencies. Do they not realize how many guys work at FFL's part time or are retirees? I have no idea how this came to light, but one city guy said that his superior asked him why he sold a pistol the previous week. Maybe agencies are checking AFS during probationary periods.
