Yes. SameIf you never leave your first childhood, they'll never know when you've entered your second. -
Ask him to come in uniform (if allowed), maybe they will speed up the process.
Congrats and thank the LEO for me.Originally posted by Kestryll:

Most of my PPT were with LEO. Exactly the same as with regular citizens except for small talk about LEO incidents vs collectible firearm talkIf you never leave your first childhood, they'll never know when you've entered your second.Comment

I like PPT's with LEO. They always have their paperwork together and the best deals I've gotten on off-roster pistols are from LEO's.
I even had a PPT with the police chief of a small CA beach city. Cool guy.Originally posted by johnthomas...The hardest part getting rid of crap is getting started.Comment

This is my first PPT with a LEO, hopefully won't be my last!
And yes, I agree about getting a good deal.Comment

Jeebus, please don't ask anyone to come while in uniform. That's no one's business and no, it won't make it go any faster. They're human just like everyone else. It is cringe worthy to expect special treatment.
The rookies that come in tossing their ID cards around act like FFL's have zero ties to their agencies. Do they not realize how many guys work at FFL's part time or are retirees? I have no idea how this came to light, but one city guy said that his superior asked him why he sold a pistol the previous week. Maybe agencies are checking AFS during probationary periods.Comment
