        My "Quick reponse" carrier is always buckled. Due to the weight of the vest all I have to do is prop it up over my head and allow gravity to pull it down onto my torso like a t-shirt. It's on and deployed in a matter of 2-3 seconds.
        Upon taking it off I set it all back up.

        My regular vest has shoulder pads so I cannot do that. Like many others I keep one side buckled and the other side open.

          Right cummerbund undone, in the passenger seat along with ballistic helmet. Only other thing in front seat is my ticket book.
