In 18 years I have yet to stop a ccw in Socal.

WHaaat? I don't come into contact daily with CCW holders but I think last year I contacted at least a half dozen. And they were all cool, respectful, not doing anything REALLY stupid (some weren't even "detained" at all), and sent on their merry ways in a short amount of time.

The two armed "good guys" I stopped who were armed.... Neither had CCW permits.. Both were good citizens, and were honest about their reasons for carrying and telling me..

Both left with warnings related to the traffic matter I stopped them for....

On the other hand I arrested many "bad guys" with guns during traffic stops.


Veteran cops know what I'm talking about.
