Quick Q for a traffic cop

Background: I got a speeding ticket months ago.

Today I had my "day in court" and he no showed. I was given a slip of paper that says my case was "Dismissed."

Question: Do I get my bail back? If so, where was I supposed to go (what department/office) to get it back?

The court will process the dismissal and refund your money it should take about 60-90 days if s f is anything like Fresno.

You got lucky the local officers here get in trouble for not showing up at court without a good reason

Just be sure to hang on to that sheet of paper; we all know how paperwork seems to get lost at government offices.

Yes you get your poster bail amount refunded to you. It will get processed in approximately 60 days. Hold on to any receipts, letters, paperwork, etc until you get your refund.
