I agree. That's how I did mine. In hindsight that's a great idea. But he's here now and in this predicament. He's still trying to see how this is going to play out but it looks like his stripped receiver is gone at most. He will have to use one of his other stripped lowers to build it back up and will buy another work rifle.

Question about LEO registration issue

I sent mine certified. Had a minor nit picky issue on the way my phone number was written out and they sent it back. I made the correction and sent it back regular mail and made it through. Got my proof of registration letter sent back. Didn't know how I lucked out until I'm watching my buddy get hosed.
