Is this becoming more common now?

Latest news articles from Chester, PA: Cops investigate a stolen car, get shot, return fire, and then are attacked by family because they "got the wrong car." SMH.

    Articles: http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/...371886712.html

A Pennsylvania mayor says a police captain is in good condition after getting hit in a shootout that left one suspect dead and another hospitalized.

For you old timers on here, how much of this stupidity do you remember from years past? I know some humans always have and always will try to blame others for their own failings/failings of their family members, but this violence directed at others due to criminal family members actions is getting ridiculous.

Also, two more of our brothers were killed this week; including one who was shot when two mopes decided to shoot at a police station. Stay frosty boys and girls.

He blames the violence on an influx of guns into the community about 18 miles southwest of Philadelphia.
    I'm sorry, WHAT?

Glad to hear the Capt. is doing okay.

Good to see the Captain is stable.

      Wrong car/not stolen? Ok, sorry.

Still doing something bad/stupid/illegal to open fire on a uniformed officer? Sounds like the right car to me, but let's be clear, it wasn't a stolen car.

It began as a suspected stolen car stop, the car took off and the chase ended in a shootout per this.

Even if the car, for whatever reason, turned out to be "the wrong car," the detention is good. Even if it was a wrongful detention, how can anyone justify shooting a captain? I hate families that enable their savage family members. Just makes them all look like savages. So much fail here. Glad the Captain is ok. Don't care about the bad guys.

What is the world coming to? When 3 thugs, driving a stolen car, and shooting cops can't just be left alone. Why did the racist cops of Chester go all rambo and return fire?

            Don't they know #criminal-lives-matter?

Report said Cpt was hit in chest and arm. Hopefully his vest protected his chest and his arm won't suffer any permanent damage.
