A new threat to worry about.

So lets make every cellphone a potential deadly threat.
What kind of fool thought that this was a good idea?

The best part of their website.

Well that and the .380 "high velocity for stoping power" bullet point (pun intended).
    Sorry, not sorry.

And this is why people get shot with dark objects gun or not. Obnoxious. Then the public will cry and savages will riot saying it's because another "unarmed" person was "slain" by the police.

I see a folding derringer. So? You're the one who seems upset about it.

                  EDIT:

Oops. I didn't realize I was in the LEO forum. I just saw the title and thought it odd someone would be worried about just another gizmo. I've been watching stuff like that come and go for decades. But, I'm not from CA so stuff like that might be new to you. Anyway, I'm going to leave now lest something I say here in your domain is interpreted as argumentative.

Isn't just the concept of this gun illegal?

I thought having something that doesn't look like a gun, cannot be a gun. For example, a cane gun. Isn't that illegal?

                      In CA yes. Other states...?

There is even a cool "wallet holster" that is illegal.

                      "Hand me your wallet!"

                      "Sure"

                      BANG!

I've never any cell phones with two .38" holes side by side, or with big 1/8" grooves for the folding handle.

Both would be clearly visible at 'gun id' range.

Aren't there several famous cases of police mistaking wallets, phones for standard non-disguised guns at very close range and killing innocent people?

When building to ADA, iirc, there is no "max wheelchair width". If a patient (real lardass) gets the Govt to give him a wheelchair two-axe handles wide, then that is what he can demand ADA for.

If a Judge (or jury), I'd see this gun wasn't so much shaped to look like something else (except when concealed) but was shaped to be easy and comfy to carry, thus A-OK.

After a certain amount of Public Notice, you'd have to consider that phones look like guns, not the other way around.

IIRC Apple won a US court judgment against Samsung for violating a patent on "rectangle with rounded corners" as part of phone design. Rest of the world laughed at the judge.

I'd think the wallet gun is legal since its obviously a gun once viewed. Ditto with Smart Phone shaped gun.

I'm pretty sure many folks wouldn't be able to tell you a Henry Survival Rifle was a gun, until its was ready for action. Same with smart phone gun. Once ready it looks like a gun.

That's like saying its against the law to commit crime. Criminals don't really care about legality

TIME OUT. I thought that it was only illegal in LA. I did not think that was illegal in the entire state of CA, just the retarded commie cities that voted on something like that.
