I have always carried spare mags and ammo for pistol and rifle. Most of the people I work with do.

I realize the intel if for Turkey, but given what we heard at the briefing in Feb, and the ability of ISIS to use the media to inspire and trigger, does this make anyone other than me nervous?

Terrorists from the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) have advanced plans to murder Jewish children in Turkey, targeting kindergartens, schools and youth centres, Sky News can reveal.

It wouldn't be the first attack by Jihadi's on a schoolground; I'm personally just waiting for it to happen here. Hopefully/unfortunately, the "other" mass shootings we have had at school might have provided some important training lessons for when the terror attack comes.

Agree we have learned lessons. Lt. Col. Grossmans worry was school bus and elementary and day care.

Agreed, and SOME of the lessons still apply. Still; and unfortunately, there will never be a fool proof way to prevent some whack job from starting to harm some kids somewhere. Best we can ALL do as a society is to take reasonable precautions, be prepared to defend the kids, and be prepared to render aid as necessary.
