I was hoping to get one from Capitol Armory, but 200 bucks is a lot to thumb my nose at.Comment

In this case, yes. That shop Oro Dave shot machine guns at is a real business and fairly easy to get to, just maybe 10 miles from the freeway. Plus it has more SIGs to stare at than any other shop I've been in, PLUS, there is a Wienerschnitzel across the street.
Maybe that's not a good thing now though, because I got my tax refund, and it will take strong resolve to resist. I just have to remember that anything I buy will almost never get shot. That includes this Cat's Arse.
I knew I shouldn't have watched Garand Thumb's latest youtube on the Mk18, because that's just where this new can is going - on the end of my Poverty PSA 10.5" pistol. I can even play pretend Mk18, I have a Knight's drop-in quadrail from the sandbox RIS or RAS, whichever it is. I don't need it though, I got no nods and don't need a PEQ or anything like that. So I have nothing to attach to the quadrail.Comment

At what point in the process does this occur? I bought something through Silencer Shop and used their kiosk way back when for prints. It was about a couple weeks ago.No, I had to through the same steps as we all do with other eForm 4 purchases. Both buyer and dealer have to be online at the ATF website, we each enter our username and password, then the buyer verifies this and that just like paper Form 4, then enter his PIN. Then we each click the box verifying our electronic signatures.Comment

In the past, my SS dealer would text me to set up a time so we both can be online, then he?d send me a link to ATF?s website where we both sign in with our respective ATF usernames and passwords. He prompts me when and where to click, then he enters his. Most of the stuff is entered by him, you just certify that it is you signing the buyer portion. Then ATF says when it?s completed and submitted.
Capitol Armory sends you an email when they?re ready and gives you a toll-free number to call. When you call, one of their agents is ready to text or email you the link to the same ATF website where you each enter the exact same information. The difference from my SS dealer is that Capitol Armory seems to be ready with the website when you call them. My SS dealer has to agree on a date to do it together.sigpic

It's going to be a problem if they try to text me because my phone is a land line. I don't know why they wouldn't just email me, they emailed me about completing my part of the Form 4, requesting a newer pic.Comment

Something must have gone wrong. Is it possible that their emails went to your junk mail folder? They haven?t texted me. That was my SS dealer who texts me for stuff. It's been about two weeks since I bought. How long after did they contact you?

Capitol contacted me the following day (Saturday) after I ordered the Fat Cat on Friday, asking me for my .eft fingerprint file and asking me to upload my trust. By the second business day they sent me the email that they are ready to certify. By the third business day, I was on the phone and PC at the same time certifying with them on ATF website.
It was painless for me.
Too bad they sold their allocation of RS Putnik before I woke up.sigpic

Mine is from SS. I got their email to provide a current pic, then they sent an email saying I was all set. But I don't know if they meant the Form 4 too.Something must have gone wrong. Are you doing an eForm 4 or paper Form 4? If eForm 4, you have to certify the application with the ATF before it is submitted. You and your dealer have to be logged in at the same time on ATFs website and each certify it is indeed who you are. This webpage is one that is only available to the dealers, he would have to send you the link, then you log in to it.
So you need to have your ATF username and password when do this e-certification.sigpic

Idunno. I clicked Add To Cart on SS and put in my credit card number. I don't know which way they do it, but I thought I saw someone say all buys are e-form now.Are you doing an eForm 4 or paper Form 4? Maybe
If you have not heard from your dealer, yet, there may have been a misunderstanding. When e-form 4 was new, my dealer was also late in getting things started.sigpic

E-form isn't new any more and Silencer Shop has sold plenty of cans in the last year.
I sent them an email about it.Comment

After talking to a couple people I got some good news, and I got some bad news.
On the good side, my dealer said they don't text people, they call them.
On the bad side, they haven't received the can yet. My supposed 6 days to clear Form 3 is into its third week.Comment
