First "PPT" in AZ

I’ve done 4 PPT since I’ve moved here, haven’t bought a gun through a FFL yet in AZ and honestly don’t know if I ever will. There is nothing I need, so I just keep my eye out for interesting deals in the AZ guns for sale forums. It’s worked out great so far.

First time doing a private party transaction in AZ. Very smooth - seller flashed me his AZ DL and CCW, exchanged gun/cash and done in less than a minute.

Such a strange feeling to be done so quick. No more long waits at LGS trying to do PPT and them B****** about all the paperwork.

I had a hard time trying to price out a BNIB Walther PDP 4.5 (Never shot, impulse buy). Bought it when it came out for $680 OTD, but ended up selling for $475 - weird feeling to be taking a loss on an "off-roster" lol. I'm just glad there's no roster to deal with here!

No parents or grandparents in CA? You could have gifted it to them and they could have doubled your take.

DL is not required, but I wanted to see it + CCW for my own peace of mind in terms of making sure I'm selling to another vetted AZ citizen. My sale, my rules.

There's a few AZ gun forums as mentioned above, but none have consistent traffic like Calguns. Too bad we can't have a subforum here for AZ private sales =P
