ID Senator Risch Votes Yes on Ukraine $40B Bill

I first became aware of what I consider to be Idaho's RINO senators when they both voted for the "infrastructure" bill. When questioned they said (almost verbatim between the two) that 1) Idaho benefits from it and 2) they are not voting for the Green New Deal (as though to prove they're not democrats).

Today Risch votes YES on the $40 billion Ukraine funding bill. Crapo voted no, but I suspect that's because he's running for Senate in November...so he's gotta look red.

These guys really disappoint me. I hope people see them for their true colors.

BTW: Yes I'm aware that 35 other senators also voted for this bill.

Trump was also positively in favor of both Risch and Crapo, per "Ballot Pedia".

If you've got info that Trump criticized either or both, I'd love to see it.

I loved most everything Trump did and tried to do policy wise, but his choices of who he endorsed over the years is questionable at best. Frequently he would go along with McConnell's choice over the conservative or whoever had great name recognition and might have said something nice about him.

Risch and Crapo have consistently placed Idaho as their top priority in voting. The infrastructure bill that they voted for included considerable benefits for Idaho, including enhanced internet capability. It's nice to get some return on our federal taxes for a change.

Good points, but I feel that the infrastructure bill benefited Idaho out of proportion for what we pay in federal taxes. We cannot grow the tech sector of our state without serious upgrades in IT.

FBHO promised internet for all of us in the boondocks...that turned out to be DSL from the phone company...an abysmal POS.
