I've never actually looked at the barrel. You can slide a can inside the SIG handguard? That would be cool.

Let me know how much it costs you and how well it worked. I don't care about tapering because I'm just going to put a 3 lug on it. TBH I formulated all these plans when I bought the thing and then fired 1 round through it (trigger problems), put it away and never looked at it since. I also have a 9mm AR upper halfway to completion - got a cool handguard for it, got a bare lower, but that's it. I have to buy a big wrench for the barrel nut and find a way to vice it somehow.

I sure am a happy camper today. I just got my e-form 1 approval today for my SBR. I submitted my e-form on 12-23-2021.
Still waiting on my e-form 4 for my can. We submitted that about January 1st 2022.

Well, eForm 1 still beats eForm 4 even submitting a month later:

Twenty one days vs. 51 days and counting . . .

I'm at 116 days and counting on e-form 4 and 209 days on paper form 4. And now Dead Air is finally releasing their dedicated 5.56 can soon and I may have to start all over again.

              This isn't fun anymore.

                Finally approved after 150 days.

Submitted/certified through SS 1/22, electronic fingerprints, Trust Shop trust w/1 responsible person, approved 6/21.

Perfect timing as I just bought several hundred rounds of 147gr 9mm for the SP5 with binary. Super stoked.

How much did the trust cost you?

The local feed store just got their Class 3, I wonder if they know how to do e-form?

Like $50 and it’s super easy and convenient.

Bought 2 suppressors at the end of December, did them on the kiosk. Certified on 2/5/22, I’m at 96 business days and waiting.

Thanks! The website looks pretty good.

I just got notified by SIG that my short barrel order from 2020 is being filled. I'd rather not engrave a rifle with my personal name, so now I'll use "FJB Trust" or something like that.

Does the name have to be unique?

The most common delay for eForm 4 was the local FFL not knowing what to do. Silencer Shop had put out e-mails and YouTube videos on how to do it and many just procrastinated. If your feed store is enthusiastic about eForm 4, they might get the ball rolling on it, but that is more the exception than the rule.

And for little changes like address changes, additions of trustees, etc., many also charge nominal amounts like $20.

Better yet, ask if they can give you the trust in an editable format such as .doc .

Yes, the trust name has to be unique. I'm sure "ATF You Suck Trust" and "Molon Labe Trust" have been taken. I'm sure "SigStroker AZ Trust" is not taken yet.

Does it make any sense to efile a Form 1 through Silencer Shop, since they have my prints already?

I thought it would be easy to search trust names, but it's not. How do I make sure the name is unique?

For me it does, especially since I have Unlimited Single Shot Trust. Is your dealer a Powered by Silencer Shop dealer? I think they default to that.

My method is to use the gun's model and serial number, so something like "Sig MPX ABC123456 Trust". But each my guns has its own separate trust so I can control who has access to them.
