Interesting question. We originally thought we would store our trailer someplace out of California while we looked for "THE" place to buy in Montana. After visiting Hurricane a couple times and realizing how much there is to do here we thought about living in the trailer here for a while. Didn't want to live in the trailer during winter in Montana!

Every RV Park we visited said they were booked solid for the season but I left contact information just in case. 2 days after we got back to Southern California I got a call from the manager at Zions Gate RV resort. They had a cancellation. We jumped on it. $525/month with full hookups, club house, indoor pool etc.....

Today is day 8 and we're loving every minute. Talking about staying for up to a year now. Bought a State Park annual pass today. I brought my Jeep XJ with me and gonna go talk to Matt at Winder towing about a place to work on it.

We are very happy we bought a bigger travel trailer than originally planned. Our kids and grandkids are coming to visit us for a week the middle of March.

Congratulations on your bold and correct choice! If you get a chance, check out Bryce canyon at sunrise or sunset. Absolutely amazing.

          Welcome to Reno

Good luck finding a place here in Reno. Median home price is now $580k, up over 50% in a couple of years. Inventory is low and people are getting multiple offers over asking on existing homes. If you can handle the commute, Cold springs still has some affordability.
Even with that, it is still a far better place to live that California. People are still friendly and the pace of life is slower.
          Welcome!

Weird, must be regional. Up here around salt lake all the stores have ammo, and plenty of it, just maybe not the exact type you want. Prices are still high. I haven't bought ammo in a long while.

            Welcome to Utah.
