Next month I will be out almost every weekend before it gets too hot. My buddy will be doing a run and gun event but I do not know when. The pinz event is going to be a campout with some 4wheeling and shooting. They have lots of room in their trucks but the ride is brutal in the back benches.

I'd take a look at the YHM Resonator K.

It's the size of their Turbo K but in .30 cal. Since you're not as much worried about it being hearing safe it's 130db+ rating shouldn't bother you. There is a minimum barrel length, but it's full auto rated. In all honesty, YHM Cans are the best bang for the buck on the market.

It's already been said here, but .300 blk was designed to be suppressed. I got my suppressor on a whim, went into a gun store and they were selling SIG Suppressors half off on black friday (2018). Took a good 9-10 months but finally got my tax stamp. 5.56 is NOT designed to be suppressed. Doing so would just be a waste. 300 blackout, on the other hand, was built for this very purpose. Just need a different barrel/upper, and you can still use the same internals and even magazines.

I run a 300BO 11" upper with a 7.9" homemade form 1 can. 200gr sub sonic ammo., as my HD weapon. Its not "Hollywood silent" indoors but no problem to shoot without ears and a 200gr pill will stop anyone at house shooting distance. I've matched up against factory built, and its just as quiet. Kind of a deep baritone sound, and the action moving makes most of the noise. Outdoors it really shines. It was fun to build(with only a drill press) and I did get a little help from an SOT. All in it cost me about $400, not counting the brake/adapter. I have a G.A. muzzle break on all my hosts and shoot 22LR up to .308. And very minimal felt recoil. If you can drill an accurate hole you can build one of these with a little patience.

7.5" barrel in 5.56 is not ideal with regards to terminal effectiveness and noise/blast, but in contrast to some others here, I enjoy shooting everything more suppressed. Not going to be hearing safe but the decrease in blast and noise makes it more pleasant. Sandman S or K, or Nomad 30 are all great and I believe have no minimum barrel length.

How are you liking the RC2 on your 11.5 with brake vs FH? I am debating if I should get a SF brake or warcomp to run on my 11.5 with the RC2.. thanks for your feedback
