Never knew about the scanning/deposit feature, that's great!

A couple years ago they had a special overnight feature where you could overnight deposits from any UPS store. They canceled it pretty quick; the UPS store person told me that she'd heard it was costing them $44 per envelope and the response was a LOT more than they expected. That's probably when they came up with the deposit-by-scan feature -- much less expensive.

Greatest company in the world, IMO.

I have been with them since 1972, and all I was was a Navy brat. I did trade their car insurance for Geico about ten years ago, and saved some money.

+1 I love USAA. I am a young male, california, sports car...The lowest quote I had was in the mid $300 per month for full coverage!

USAA gave me a good driver discount and I am paying under $200 per month for better coverage than anyone else.

My dad finally talked me into the switch, he has been with them forever he is a vet also.

Thing with USAA is that they trust their members (justifiably so; IMO most military folks take honor seriously). When my brother was in college his Jeep was broken into and his entire CD collection was stolen. USAA just wrote him a check. Other insurance agencies would, I think, have been quite skeptical of a teenager making such a claim.

I worked for Wells Fargo for quiet a long time and I was always impressed by how much USAA toppled our rates by.

My entire family has been with State Farm (which is outstanding) for over 30 years, however, I called USAA and they straight up gave me the same quote as my State Farm agent... and State Farm's price for me INCLUDES loyalty factor.

I'm still with State Farm, but I intend to go USAA for my home loan.

Been a member myself since 1994, they are my one-stop shop for banking and insurance. Their auto insurance can't be beat.

USAA rocks! My insurance is WAY cheaper than I could get it from anyone else. I even moved my checking and savings account over to them since they give rewards on using your check card AND they refund ATM fees that other banks charge to use their ATMs. Not to mention, their accounts pay about 5 times more in interest than Wells Fargo does.

I also recently opened up an investing account and credit card with them too.

Also, if you're in the market for a new car, check out their car buying service. They can get you a great deal with zero haggling.

Every time I call them, I get an English speaking person who is very helpful. I have never had to call them twice...they always get things done the first time.

I can't say enough good things about USAA.

I've been with them for about 20 years.
They are little more expensive than some, but I have no complaints.
That's worth a lot to me.

Allstate was cheaper than USAA by a few hundred so I went with Allstate.

You're in "good hands" with Allstate... Unfortunately, they're wrapped tightly around your throat.

IM(NS)HO you need a reliable insurance company.
