Because "The Bush Administration" told General Mattis no when he and 4000 Marines had his *** in the Hindukush mountains back in December of '01. Plenty of opportunities to hand him his *** but they always seem to fall short. And I seriously don't beleivce it's because our soldiers and Marines failed. Either way with or without Bin Laden this war would have happened.

Also I do not believe he is still alive any longer. The last video's were released around 2003 and no new footage since. I think he's dead and the Taliban/Al Quaida is not releasing that info in order to keep their Jihad going full steam. Either way Whats done is done and we now just need to quit asking what and how was done wrong but what and how needs to be done to finish the job...
